PA is elegant!!
She is long, level, dairy, smoothly blended and loves attention
and usually gets it! Lynn Benedict graciously allowed us to
purchase PA in the spring of 2005 after she kidded. After only
being with us for a few weeks we took her to a double ring show
where she was GCH & BOB in both rings. She was only defeated once
in her class the entire year and finished at our State Fair by
going Reserve GCH to a finished doe in very steep competition! In
2006 PA had a very difficult kidding with large AI triplets to
repeat the breeding of her gorgeous 5th generation EX
appraising daughter, SG Walnut Fork Distracted Issues 10*M LA 3-02
91 EEEE. PA never really snapped back and milked or ate like she
should have. Despite that we took her out to one show where she
easily took GCH (no CH CH offered). In 2007 PA again produced
large triplets and looked beautiful. Like most of the Walnut Fork
animals, she is ageing gracefully--feet and legs are still strong,
same beautiful mammary system and flawless topline. She was shown
in Champion Challenge 4 x's and was 2nd all 4 times. PA once
again LA'ed 91 at 6 years of age and peaked at over 13lbs of
milk.
Perhaps PA's
strongest trait is her ability to reproduce. Her daughter in WV,
SG Walnut Fork Distracted Issues 10*M LA 3-02 91 EEEE and her
milking yearling daughter here, Shady Lawn Distracted Paradise
10*M LA 1-07 89 EVVE is perhaps the best yearling we have ever had
at Shady Lawn!
