Act is a very powerful and
correct individual as his LA score at 8 years of age
represents 93 EEE. More importantly he is the most
consistent sire that we have had the good fortune to own! Act has
produced beautiful offspring, long, sharp, dairy, silky hided does
with beautiful udders that milk extremely well. He improves feet
and legs and his kids have wide chests and correct leg set. His
daughter's LA scores further prove his siring abilities. In 3
herds, 3 states, 14 daughters in 21 appraisals average
87.2!
Act has sired the Jr.
and/or Reserve Jr. Champion and first place Jr. Get at the Ky
State fair for the last eight years, as well as 1st place Sr.
Get for the last six years. He made us proud by also
siring the 1st Jr. and Sr. Get at the 2005 NAILE
show as well as GCH Sr. doe, BUOB and BUIS!! In 2006
Nationals Act had 3rd place Sr. Get, 5th and
10th place 3 yr. olds and 3rd place Sr.
yearling for a few highlights. At 2006 NAILE he sired both the Jr.
with Brooke and Beauty repeated as Sr. Champion and BUOB. He also
had Jr. and Sr. Champion at Kentucky State Fair with this same
pair or amazing does. In 2007, Beauty was once again GCH/BUOB
at NAILE for the third consecutive year, with Belle Reserve GCH,
together they were 1st produce of dam, Act had 1st Sr. Get of
Sire and he was the foundation of our 1st place Dairy
Herd.
At the 2007 ADGA Nationals, Act was named the National Show
Premier LaMancha Sire
,
and had the 2nd place National Junior Get of Sire, sired the 1st
& 2nd place 4 yr olds, Reserve BU LaMancha, the award winner
for high 305 milk & butter fat, 4th Jr. Kid, 4th Sr. Kid as
well as several other high placing individuals!! In
2008, the Class Act daughters were 2nd place Sr Get of Sire (thank
you to Julie Matthys for use of her beautiful 2yr old Gypsy!), 8th
place 5-6 yr old, 8th place Sr yearling, 3rd place Produce of Dam,
and many other top placing anaimals at the ADGA National
Show. Classy Temptation was Jr GCH at the State Fair for the
2nd year in a row, Piper 1st/1st udder yearling milker, and Act
had 1st Sr Get of Sire as well as Jr Get. At the Exhibitor's
Show Beauty was BOB and Classy Tia was Reserve Jr GCH. At
the 2008 NAILE show Beauty was GCH/BOB for the fourth consecutive
year and Classy Temptation was Reserve Jr GCH!!! The Jr GCH was
also a Class Act daughter bred and owned by J-Haven dairy goats
and was part of our 1st place Jr Get. Act also sired the 1st
place Sr. Get, his daughters were 1st place Produce of Dam and an
important part of our 1st place Dairy Herd and 1st Place Best
Three Females.
SGCH Shady Lawn
Classy Belle 2*M, LA 4-05 92 EEEE was #7 on Top Ten in 2006 for
Milk and Protein. Her 2007 lactation exceeded over
4800lbs. SGCH Shady Lawn Classy Beauty 2*M,
LA 4-05 93 EEEE while milking 3-01 244 3396 120 3.5% 88 2.9% in
progress and remaining undefeated for two straight
years on the local circuit, and winning Reserve Best Udder at
the 2007 National Show. Act is soon to be 10 years old and is
still breeding and settling does! If you are

further--he is truly a Class Act!
