Barcardi is another one of the Barbie/Act girls and looks just
like the rest of them, very long, tall, sharp and dairy with a
super udder to top it all off. Bacardi had a really good year as a
Jr. yearling going Jr. Champion in both rings of the only show we
took her to. She then came into milk and finished the year as a
milking yearling despite never having freshened! She won her
class at the KY State Fair and being part of the undefeated Sr.
Get of Sire for Act. In 2006 she freshened with twin does and
started out by winning her class the first four times shown! She
was part of our 3rd place Sr. Get of Sire at Nationals
for Act and 1st at KY State Fair. She was 2nd
with 2nd udder at KY State Fair behind our Zap and 4th
at the extremely competitive NAILE show in November when she was
not carrying as much milk as we would have liked for her to have.
Bacardi looked gorgeous in 2007 and quickly earned a milking leg
and two more 1st places and 2 more 2nds. Then disaster struck and
she contracted a terrible case of masitits and we are not sure at
this point if one side of her udder will recover.
We love her 06 doe kid Breeze freshened gorgeous and is pictured
on our reference page, she now resides in FL and is an ELITE
doe. It appears Bacardi is as strong a producer as the rest of her
doe line!
