Beauty is just that, an absolute beauty!! She was my
favorite of the twins when they were younger, but I could never
choose between her and Belle now. Beauty is long, smooth and
stylish, with a flawless mammary. She is a pleasure to show and to
deal with every day with a wonderful disposition and easy to milk.
She had an outstanding year as a two year old, taking GCH and BDIS
in Ohio, GCH at the State Fair Exhibitor's Show and finished the
year and her CH title with an astounding victory by going GCH and
BUIS at the hugely competitive NAILE show in November as well as
being a part of our 1st place Dairy Herd and Sr. Get of Sire! Her
dam Barbie, won BUIS two years earlier at the NAILE show, we think
it says a lot for the consistency in this dam line, three
generations of CH does, two to win BUIS at NAILE, three to win BUIS
at state fair!!
In 2006 Beauty was taken out for the first time at ADGA Nationals where she was 5th place 3yr old in a huge class, part
of the 3rd place Sr. Get of Sire and 4th place Produce of Dam. At
her 2nd show she was GCH at KY State Fair and BUOB (no CH Challenge
offered) and topped off the year by again going GCH & BU at the
NAILE show and part of our Supreme Best 3 Females! Beauty was 4
times BOB and 1 time BUIS out of 4 times shown in May of 2007. At
the 2007 National Show in Gillette Beauty was 2nd place 4yr old, 1st
udder and Reserve Best LaMancha Udder!! It was an incrediable moment
for us! The National GCH/BU was none other than Beauty's paternal
grand dam, GCH South Fork H. Cayenne 4*M!! Beauty and Belle paired
for 2nd place Produce of Dam. Beauty then came home to go GCH &
BUIS at State Fair, then BOB, BUIS & BDIS at the KY State Fair EX
Show!! She finished up the year by going GCH/BU at NAILE for the
THIRD consecutive year!
Beauty also reproduces herself, her 3 yr. old
daughter SG Shady Lawn CT Big Star 3*M LA 3-04 92 EEEE and should go
over 3000lbs in her 2nd lactation, has 2 GCH legs and was 8th place
3yr old at Nationals! Beauty & Big Star were 3rd place dam &
daughter team at the 2007 ADGA Nationals. Her dry yearling daughter, BeDazzled was 4th
at Nationals and 1 x Jr. Champion, 2 x's Reserve Jr. Champion and
1st at NAILE out of 15! Her doe kid, BeWitched was Reserve Jr.
Champion at State Fair EX Show.
