Belmont was our natural choice to retain as a replacement for
his sire when we lost Mysaka so early. Belle is one of our
favorite does in style, breeding, production and
temperament. Belle was 1st place 4yr old at Nationals with 2nd
udder behind her twin siste Beauty who went on to take Reserve
Best Udder LaMancha. They were together 2nd place Produce of
Dam and 4th Sr. Get of Sire with Blonde. Belle also won the
High 305 Milk & Butterfat Award, was #7 on Top Ten for Milk
and Butterfat, LA'ed 4-05 92 EEEE, was BOB at State Fair and
Reserve GCH/Reserve BU at NAILE behind Beauty. We lost Mysaka
young, but was very impressed with his limited offspring in our
herd and his permanent GCH daughter in the Irish Valley herd
that LA'ed 90 as a 3yr old in '07.
Belmont is everything that we would expect from this
breeding---super long, sharp, dairy, open, level with great feet
and legs. We have high expectations for this guy and his
littermate sister that we retained, Southern Belle. They were
both Ec kids.
