Berry was purchased from the Tempo herd as well in the spring of
2006. We had long admired her dam Sidney, and had purchased a buck
out of her grand dam Audrey years ago, but lost him without
offspring. Our twin daughters Faith and Hope carried around the
Tempo sales brochure and pointed at Sidney all winter. When I
relayed this to Laurie Acton she thought they should have a doe kid
from her! She did them a big favor in making Berry within their
budget and she will be their foundation doe. Only shown once, at the
NAILE show, she was 1st Early Jr. kid! At Berry's first
show as a dry yearling in Lancaster Ohio under Evin Evans she was
1st and Jr. GCH earning her dry leg! What a great beginning! We
love this doe, her disposition, her pedigree….oh and her dam made
top ten 2006 too!
