We sold
Star as a dry yearling when Atwood Acres wanted to start a
LaMancha herd. When it decided to disperse their small
LaMancha herd in the spring of 2007 we gladly purchased Star
back. She arrived bred and produced two very pretty GCH ++*B
One Oak Hill Mac Tumbleweed doe kids!! We were very excited
about the promise of these kids as well as that of Star! So
far Star has not let us down, she is making a fantastic record
for a 2nd lactation and is ME'ed at 3734. She LA'ed 92 EEEE
and picked two GCH legs going 2 x's GCH, 3x's Reserve GCH
including the KY State Fair Exhibitor's show. She was 1st 6
x's ---including the NAILE Show and was 8th place 3yr old at
the 2007 ADGA Nationals! Star is an extremely deep bodied,
wide, capacious doe, with an incrediable mammary system that
produces! She and Beauty have made a very impressive
Dam/Daughter combination placing 1st almost everywhere they
went and was th at Nationals.
Star has
earned the SG status this year, which puts her in an elite
group---a 3rd generation SG!! Now to get that 3rd leg....
