Cranberry was
added from the J-Haven herd this spring. We wanted a doeling
from Jill's new herdsire, Parker. I felt that he was the same
Hershey/Charmer cross that Act was and was excited to see his
kids. I loved Boysenberry as a dry yearling and her lines
were my old genetics, the same lines as Nice and So Fine,
extremely beautiful mammaries. When "BB" kidded she did not
disappoint, and she was 1st/1st udder 2yr old at the KY State
Fair under Karen Senn. We are pleased to have Cranberry here
at Shady Lawn, thanks Jill! Cranberry is a very smooth,
level, long doeling with a lovely head and the twins really
have made her their special play thing. We did not take her
out this year, just too many pretty April born doelings to
chose from. Due to her late birthdate she will more than
likely be kept a dry yearling.
