Denali
and his littermate sister Dharma are everything that we had in
mind when we made this AI. We had admired the Tumult
daughters for years, especially those in the Kastdemur's
herd. Denali is a very tall, long bodied, sharp front
ended, long necked buck with an incredible rear width. He
has grown into a huge buck. We have used him quite heavily
for a young buck and were not disappointed. His kids were
very long bodied, deep, had his impressive rear and front width
and levelness of topline. In fact, two of our prettiest
kids to "hit the ground" were Denali kids---the Beauty x Denali
kids and the So Fine x Denali kids. Upon freshening,
one of our best yearlings was Denali BeWitched. From being
one of our prettiest kids to one of our best yearlings--both in
the show ring and in the milk pail. She was 12th at
Nationals, 1st/1st udder at NAILE and earned her SG
title all as a yearling! Again, two of my favorite doelings in
2008 So Neat and Briar are both Denali offspring. We think
this buck is awesome.
Denali
also qualified for the young sire development
program.
We unexpectedly lost Denali in
January of 2009. He will be sorely
missed!
