Heather was purchased along with
Big Star in the Atwood Acres LaMancha herd dispersal in the spring
of 2007. She kidded in late May with twin mini-manchas and we
were pleasantly surprised by Heathers's adapting to our herd and
her will to milk and eat! She has really filled out and is a deep
bodied, yet dairy doe with great feet and a high rear udder and
snug fore. I would like to correct her teat size and shape to more
ideal. She has a very sweet disposition and easy keeper. We will
try to get her to some shows this summer late and fall. She gave
8.0 lbs on her first test at 18 days fresh.
