While we were
viewing the Glen Mythos herd in Florida, it became quite
apparent that I was going to come home with a buck---Vidfraegr,
aka Handsome. I was so impressed with a number of their
does, but one black and tan beauty just completely took my
eye. That doe was Morwen. I found out she was another
lovely Stormbringer daughter-- a three year old 2nd
freshener that had her dry leg. As I looked over the herd
several times I kept going back to that doe, she was so
long, tall, dairy and just beautiful to look at standing
naturally. After she was milked she had the most
unbelievable texture (as did all of these does!). I was in
love! Mara told me that Morwen had a doe kid by Helm's
Deep, therefore double Stormbringer, that could come home
with me. As much as I didn't need another kid, this one was
too good to pass up! Morwen then finished her CH in the
next few weeks after we had seen her, not surprising to me
at all. I only wished they could have had her at
Nationals!
Morticia
looks much the same as her lovely dam, right down to the
coloration. This is a horrible photo of Morticia, but the
only one I have at the moment.
Morticia will
be a dry yearling for 2008.
