When making trips to West Virginia to view the gorgeous Alpines at
Walnut Fork, we always admired the one big beautiful Nubian doe
"Pie" (aka Mary Lyn). Pie belongs to Lyn Benedict's grand daughter
and was a spotlight sale consignment. A productive, lovely
uddered doe--Lynn and Maya had never managed to get her to settle
AI until the breeding to Ozzie. We were pleased to add Hunter to
our small Nubian breeding program to bring in the cross of the
incrediable Lassenwood Nubians and the very reliable Jesta Farm
doe lines. Hunter is a very correct guy, with strong feet and
legs, good ribbing and sharp withers. We look forward to our
first Nubian babies in the spring!
