So Fine is a large, deep bodied beautifully uddered,
smooth blended doe. So Fine belongs to our daughter Shanna who
shows her in her open class as well as using her as her
showmanship doe. So Fine was 3 times Reserve Jr. Champion as a dry
yearling and was Reserve Jr. Champion as a kid at the KY State
Fair Exhibitorʼs Show. She showed well as a two year old first
freshener, always in the top three. So Fine did not get to go to
Nationals as she was cut badly on her head with a set of clippers
by a helper when getting ready to go. So Fine looked even better
as a 2nd freshener this year, she was GCH her first show out
earning her first milking leg. She picked up another Reserve GCH
in May at an Ohio club show and then got a bad case of mastitis.
She was treated and appeared to be drying off. She stayed home
from Nationals and State Fair, but then leveled out and came
back! Just in time for linear appraisal earning a much deserved
91 EEEE. It might be noted that So Fine is double bred on Class
Act and Barbie and Corky were maternal ½ sisters as well. To us
she is a fine example of line breeding!
So Fine was bred to Denali for '07 kids and produced one
of the most handsome kids to arrive at the farm, So Cool. Again,
when something turns out that good, why mess with it? We have
repeated the same for 2008 kids.
