Tenley was added to our herd last year along with Peggy
from the Tempo herd in Oregon. We are thrilled to have these
girls!! Tenley is a slower maturing doe, being all legs and
length in 2006, but was always in the money despite not being all
filled out. She topped her class at her first show in Ohio going
2x's 1st out of 12 two year olds, never going below 3rd
locally. She teamed up with Peggy to be 5th place
Produce of Dam at Nationals for Surya. As a three year old Tenley
again placed well, always in the top three at the early May club
shows. She really bloomed and looked her best by fall however and
stood 1st at the State Fair over Big Star under judge Karen Senn
who said she was a very elegant, dairy doe. She finished the year
with a 3rd at the very competitive NAILE as well as being a very
tolerant showmanship doe for Garrett! Tenley still has some
maturing to do and we will give her the time to do it.
Tenley's kids by Act were beautiful, the doe kid remained
here---Tallahassee and was 4th place Sr. kid at Nationals as well
as part of our 2nd place Jr. Get of Sire for Act. We have
repeated that breeding, why mess with a good thing?
